Motivational Monday Youtube video 8/22/16

I hope all of you enjoy my youtube video! It definitely has some use for those who have been in this situation or are in this situation now. I think people need to worry less about how others look at the gym and realize we are all there to workout for our own reasons and each of us have our own story to tell. Why judge someone for looking good or bad? is it really all that bad that the girl at the gym wants to show off her legs because she is confident with herself? We don’t know people’s lives from start to finish all the time. I think women can be so cruel sometimes (not saying men are not) but we tend to “hate” females who look better, smell better, have better, do better than us..like seriously. I think the gym should be a safe place to do something for yourself without having to worry about someone talking shitty about you because you look good. Ladies, carry yourself with confidence and don’t allow someone to bring you down because whatever you are doing to look good, you are doing a great job! Don’t be mad at someone for wanting to improve themselves in a positive manner, if you don’t know their story than don’t make one up.

You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct. I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL. My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

  1. As always great video! I think even though you talked about it from the aspect of gyming I think even in general people, unfortunately a lot of the times women, get really jealous of other women who have something they don’t have which is so unfair. I mean just cos they have something you don’t doesn’t mean you have to be a bitch to them. Like you said you don’t know their story and what they’ve been through. I think instead of bringing one another down we should try to support one another and we should get to know someone before hating on them. It just doesn’t make sense to tear each other down.

    1. Yes, agreed. This definitely goes for outside of the gym, seriously just walking inside of a grocery store sometimes, I will hear people making petty comments about someone who is doing something that doesn’t pertain to the person being negative. I find that women prefer watching other feeling insecure because it makes them feel some kind of good about themselves sometimes. I mean if a girl at the gym is overweight and you know you are in shape, you feel better about yourself, you give yourself a ego boost and you pretty much feel bad for the other female because she isn’t in shape BUT as soon as you are the girl who is overweight and not happy with the way you look and you noticed other women in shape with confidence you want to damn them to hell. It urks me because we get enough slack from society and the media alone. I am not saying all women are like this, but a good number are. When you feel better than someone else you judge and when you feel below someone else you judge! it was a lose-lose when you are that negative!

    2. Yes I totally agree! We hear negative comments about people everywhere and usually the underlying reason for those comments are jealousy. It is just so sad that people need to judge others to feel better for themselves. There are so many other ways to feel better about yourself that don’t involve putting others down. Like you said it’s a lose-lose situation no matter what side you’re on. Whether you’re receiving or saying the negative comments you are still losing. Women get so much hate from everyone and we should be sticking together instead of turning on each other and it’s so sad a majority of women don’t realize this.

    1. Nobody wants to stay in their lane when someone is doing better or when someone is doing worse. A female could look good and be happy, we assume she is stuck up and arrogant. A female could be overweight and have depression, we assume she is a loser and lazy! LOL it is like.. wow.. people.. really 😛
