You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct.
I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL.
My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

Jeez, how much better the world would be if everyone understood that simple concept!

I did. I don’t necessarily agree with the direction you took it. I’m more of a “how weak are you that you would let society dictate how you feel about yourself” or better, “Because society is such a diverse group, you can’t possibly know what it expects” kind of guy. Finally, my favorite is, “What you think of me is none of my business, so it really doesn’t matter”.
Still, too many people rely on the society crutch, so any way it can be broken is fine by me.

Ahh! Okay, no, I understand where you are coming from. Two different directions but both are very strong points. Society is a diverse group of people, but again this whole everyone fits in a certain group thing (which can be fitness/non fitness topics) is what gets me, everyone in my field of work wants to be something someone else is in order to fit in – from my own point of view. I have never heard of your last quote, but I find that one to be good reference.

Truthfully, I think the message often comes down who’s hearing it. Your message is fantastic for a lot of people, and that’s why I liked it. I just don’t happen to be one of them. This goes back to the diversity you referenced in your reply. In recovery I run into the same thing quite often. My message and experience is a little to straight-forward for many. Anyway, great post.

Jim, whose hearing it? NO ONE! lol only you heard it! haha. obviously you might be the only support I get on the YouTube video, which is fine with me because you share your honest opinion and not this “great video”, or “good talk” , etc bullshit that is nice to hear but doesn’t strike any kind of conversation or feedback. I like that you watched it, I do appreciate that! not to mention actually share your straight forward opinion – that not many like but should appreciate because we arent born to be bubble wrapped. ( As a matter of fact I was talking to a co-worker about people having this “bubble wrap” mentality) something I should do a video about.
I like the straight forward stuff, although I try to keep it not so much, because like you mentioned more people prefer the “baby talk” , so.. I need to keep their attention. lol.

Thanks for sharing this video. Two thoughts came to mind:
“Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery
In other words, you be you because character counts more than exterior show
And this is my counterpoint to you have to fit a certain mould to be accepted, famous, trusted, etc.:

You always come up with such quotes for every scenario, I don’t know how, but you do. lol.
I would agree, and I hope many people realize that as well, that character triumphs appearance – I was always told a woman can be sexy as hell and have a bad personality and it ruins it! lol. This goes both ways of course. Also, I plugged in the URL in my browser and it didnt work?
