You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct. I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL. My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

  1. Shay-lon, you are very wise, I love this video of yours. Very good. There is a time when you can’t speak to some, and I believe you can’t fight fire with fire, it has to be water. I agree with you on confrontation. But, sometimes, i don’t believe confrontation work all the time because some people just don’t get what they are doing, they don’t see anything wrong in it, and if you speak to them, then you are just banging your head on brick wall and it is sooooo not worth it. So like you I kinda let is slide on the most part. But one place you can discuss adult to adult is a work place I find, but outside of that, it is better to ignore and ignore means not in a rude way, but don’t let the cruelness touch your heart. Do i make any sense… lol

loving these videos of yours – even though I am not in the collab or exercising as much as should… lol…

    1. Bella,
Yes, I do understand what you mean when you mention how some people do not see how what they are doing is wrong or inappropriate and this is correct – but I feel at least as adults, I can try to understand them and if I can’t or if they choose to be ignorant then I can go from there. but I try to give everyone a chance unless it just isn’t worth it then ignoring them is best fit 🙂
I appreciate your support for my videos, hopefully they are both fun to watch and insightful as well!

  2. I just practiced this right now! Perfect timing too. Before I react, I stop and think if it’s worth my time and energy to react. I think about whether these people are individuals that will be in my life, or are people that are passing by. Passer bys are not worth my energy.

    1. I like how you put that “passer bys” and yes, I totally agree with you, they are not worth the energy, although sometimes they make you want to put in the energy >.< but I have become good at ignoring most people in my life who tend to be "passer bys", not saying I haven't allowed them to get to me, because I have but like you, I have allowed it less.
