You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct.
I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL.
My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

It went beyond my expectations actually! As you probably know I’m not a very fitnessy person but this was actually genuinely interesting! 🙂

Did you like it? do you use dynamic stretching/warmups?

I did. Very easy to read for simple folks like me. I don’t stretch as much as I should but I am trying to do more dynamic stretches before I run.

Why don’t you stretch as often as you should? do you stretch after your workout?

When I stretch it’s usually after a workout. I’m trying to be better at stretching before, usually as I walk out the door along my driveway. I think I’m usually just eager to get going. What about you? How consistent are you with stretching?

Okay, well at least you do stretch afterwards, which helps with ROM. Are you a flexible person, would you say? also, we don’t talk about my stretching habits! pft! lmfao

This is so cool!! Nice job, Shay-lon! Read your article, loved it & the info (I love a good warm up), and then shared it on Twitter :)) So inspiring too — makes me want to branch out and try writing for another site other than my blog too! Also, I love doing Frankies for warming up, but never knew that was the official name, so that was interesting to learn too. I thought you did a great job of explaining each exercise & I could imagine myself doing them as I read your cues :)) Hope all is well!

Jess, thank you for the kind words and taking the time to share in on social media 🙂 I appreciate the positive support.
Frankies are what my professor called them, I wasn’t sure of them before then, I suppose there might be other names that people use, but that is the name that stuck with me and it made sense to me when she explained it.
I think you can do whatever you put your heart and mind too! good luck with your writing and blog 🙂 talk to you soon!
