I won a free custom made planner!
I entered into a giveaway for a free planner that a fellow blogger created, and won! I don’t know if many of you are aware of the giveaways that people do on #instagram but I try to always participate to win free items that would benefit me or my life in some way (clothes, planners, supplements, etc). I have entered into maybe 3 giveways and never end up winning but this particular one I did win and I am very joyful about it because it is very amazing looking, she did a really good job of it and secondly because I use planners – they keep my life in order (without one, I am not sure how I would survive.. metaphorically speaking and my whole world would be lost). This particular planner I am going to be using starting in March will be used as my #blogplanner so it will help to keep organized with my blog and fitness challenges and basically will be the key to all my upcoming goals and priorities that have to do with my blog, youtube, and social media.
I told you in previous post I am always looking to enhance my blog page and content for all the readers and I always try to do what I can and so by winning this planner it will lead me in the right direction and enhance what I already have planned for all of you 🙂
I will be sure to share photos of me and the planner next month 🙂 so everyone will get the chance to have a look at it before I start using it!
#Cheers

Really? wow! ha. I thought I was the only crazy one! lmao. Most people just look at me weird when I tell them how I love using planners.
This was my first time, normally I never win the giveaways (the cool stuff) but this time, I suppose I had luck by my side.
This amazes me that you have never won anything :O Awh 😦 hey, maybe you will win something, cheer up! no worries.

Yeah…ppl think it’s weird. Especially now, in the era of IT & mobile calendars. Maybe one day I’ll win who knows 🙂 but right now I’m glad for u! 👍✌️

I don’t like using my phone as a calendar, it annoys me actually. LOL — this is one thing that makes me weird. I don’t use my phone for many purposes because I like the “old school” way of things at times, I love writing stuff down on paper.

Wowww you won?!?! That is so incredibly amazing! I have like never won anything in my life (except this bow and arrow set one time in a fair) and it is just so cool that you won!! Now you can stay all organized and make sure you never forget to post!! Congratulations and I hope you win lots more stuff too 🙂

“If we fail to plan, we are planning to fail.” Only thing I remember from College. But what happens if you want to plan something into 2018 – you’ll be stuck!

So basically this means, it is best to not plan anything at all, or not plan so far in the future?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No no. If you don’t plan, you certainly won’t get where you want to go. I’m just concerned for 2018 because the planner you won is only for 2017. It’s like that Mayan calendar thing all over again!

Do you think that people should plan often? also do you think it is possible to plan 5 years from now but have no idea what to expect in that time frame?

I’m not sure I would use the word “should.” It seems that if one has a plan they tend to accomplish their goals in the timeframe they want. I think plans help ensure one doesn’t get distracted by other interesting but non-essential things.
With that said, I find the more people that are involved and the more people focused one is, the harder it is to plan and achieve plans in the long term.
From what I understand, short-term, achievable, and few goals help us best progress. So even if you had a five year plan, you would probably need to break it up into several smaller plans to ensure success.
So let’s say someone wants to complete a spartan race. What kind of plan would they need to ensure that happened and didn’t get pushed off and pushed off?

Well luckily for the person who may be competing in a spartan race, the website plans everything for them! lol 😀 that makes life a whole lot easier.
On the other hand, I agree, short term and few goals are best and those are the ones I usually try to aim for.

Hmmm, it’s like there’s no good reason not to sign up and do the race…

It took me six months to convert a side hugger (side hugs are from satan) into a real hugger. So I’m up for the challenge…

I have done side hugs too! 🙂 those aren’t so bad unless you are the person receiving them! lol

Just for the record… I plan sermon series for several months at a time, I plan for races usually six months out, and I plan my work stuff typically a week in advance. I heavily use my calendar and lists to make sure I get things done. The five year thing has been really challenging. Right now our two year plan is to financially recover from being devastated last year.

Yay! Congrats! My friend tagged me on an IG contest a few months ago and we both won Blundstone boots! I thought it was a scam because I don’t remember entering anything, but my friend reminded me that she had tagged me. Lol, I hardly win anything.

Hey! that is even cooler that you won shoes! I would be extra excited! ha. I never really know what is a scam anymore, but I try to be optimistic and if it seems seemingly realistic, I try to enter the giveaway. It is awesome to win free things though – small or big, I just think it is awesome!
