Day 53
What do you love about life?
- I love the opportunities life has to offer, the learning experiences, the choices we have to live our lives to the fullest, the adventure it brings, and being able to experience life with different people in various ways.
What do you love about life? or don’t you love life?

You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct.
I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL.
My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

That’s definitely worthwhile 🙂 how I feel when my 10 year old brother feels the same way about me 🙂

What do you enjoy about yoga?

So much – and while not all yoga practices are the same – my too three enjoyments are the breathe work – the body aligning and the ending relaxation that the body feels 😉
Thanks for asking –
Do you do yoga?

I have never done yoga, no. My gym offers yoga classes and I am open to giving it a go due to the fact I know it will help with my lifting, flexibility and also help to open my horizons by implementing different practices of fitness.

It sure will help with all that.
And my biggest tip is to try at least ten teachers before you assess if yoga is for you.
And be careful before you get into power yoga because the cardio part sometimes gets in the way of learning the poses – once you know the poses you can work up to that.
If you have a chance to check out Adrienne Reed (she used to be in cable and think she had some PBS airings)
But she has great 20 minute sessions.
–
Look for a good gentle yoga class because those classes usually give you strengthening and body alignment
And for me
– I have come to find teachers that add some meditation in their class
But each teacher will have their strengths and for example – I know when to yaco’s class for her alignment gift- and when to take jennie for her overal body focus
–
There was one teacher who was always heavy on the hios and I avoid her class because I like the overall body
But again – different teachers have different strengths
– lastly – I am hoping to get a podcast going with some of my gentle yoga recorded sessions.
Check my blog later this year and maybe it will be something you can try

Thank you for sharing these tips with me, definitely will use them when trying yoga. I think a podcast would be wonderful & I look forward to it, I want to start podcasting as well, so maybe we can then support each other. Mine will be fitness/health focused so will play into yoga (win-win) lol but yeah, I have given meditation a try and I did enjoy it, but something I have a hard time sticking with. Are you huge into meditation?

Well some of the yoga I do has a meditative quality to it – and I teach a weekly Sunday night class that includes meditation – so not “huge” into it but it is part of my life.
And yeah – let’s stay connected more as the year unfolds and see what we both end up doing
