365 Days of Self Discovery: Day 106

12.17.18

What makes your life worthwhile?

  • The people that are in my life (new and old alike) because at some point they have helped shaped me, encouraged me, supported me, mentored me, and have been some form of positivity in my life. Maybe not all the time, everyday, but at least a few times. Besides the people, the things I look forward to doing in the future & the things I have done since birth that have helped me grow, opened my mind, and was new/fun!
I hope you feel as though your life is worthwhile, because it is, and you don’t see the benefits of living your life, then take the time and think about anything good that has happened to you; smallest things count! if something bad has happened that has changed your mind about having a life worth living, think about how this bad event/trauma has in some way made you into a better person — whether it taught you a life lesson, gave you insight, made you more aware of your surroundings, humbled you, strengthened your mind/body, or opened up a path of spirituality, whatever it may have been, what blossomed from your bad day(s) — what came out of it, besides the darkness (because we all have darkened days, but what happened when you started seeing the world differently and allowed for yourself to open up to someone who cares, or what happened when you took your first step to leaving the house again, etc. I realize some of you are still in the process of wanting to function and wanting to get back to the “old days” when you thought life was great, but take your time, no life is not worth living anymore — because no matter what you go through in life, you have a story & what’s better than being the author of your book. One day your book will be shared among other people and one day you will see something good come from it — I would be the first to raise my hand to this, because I too, thought my life wasn’t worthwhile for a long time, and still have my moments in time whether I question it, but I have to remember what purpose I set out for myself and if I follow a positive purpose — it will lead me to my goal of a positive life; a happiness I have been yearning for, but if I choose to give up, I won’t ever know what will come of my story and how far it might bring me to my goal.

You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct. I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL. My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

    1. Thank you Jim!
I love your order of operation, truly my life has been a blessing in more ways than one, even when I don’t always see the golden path, God for sure is important to me as well 😀
