Hello everyone!
back at it again with a fun question for my readers.
Today’s question…
Which do you squat in?
- Barefoot
- flats
- lifting shoes (heeled)
- Crocs
- Socks
- Cross training shoes
I am eager to read all the different anwers, you can select more than one if you use multiple? And if you are feeling really sassy, go ahead and explain why!
I have been a converse girl for a long time, so that is my go to BUT, recently I have done some exercises in just socks at the gym just to give it a go and it was very weird, but not bad. I don’t know if I will do any of my olympic lifts in socks but hey, never know!

You can assume I have a love for fitness & a love for Wonderwoman -- both assumptions are correct.
I am an ACSM certified personal trainer of 8+ years -- I currently reside in Ohio and live a simplistic life at the age of 29. If I am not lifting, I am eating, sleeping, traveling, exploring, or movie watching. I recently moved during a pandemic, now I am focused on self care (self love), building a business of my own in personal training, becoming a professional blogger, starting a podcast and doing things that make me happy! I am a sister, daughter, and loyal friend --- I love everyone's dog and I am on a mission to pet as many dogs as possible everywhere I go! LOL.
My mission is to talk health (physical/mental), design programming, motivational speak, learn, grow, prosper, build others and make as many people smile as possible because I want nothing more than to be the change I seek in the world.

My go to squat shoes are my Do-win lifting shoes which are brilliant because I have slightly limited ankle mobility, I do sometimes also squat in my Reebok Nanos which are pretty flat.

I have some reebok shoes that are cross trainers that are comfortable. Honestly, I think my ankle mobility is becoming pretty limited as well or always has been and I failed to work on it.

I find Reebok shoes really comfy. I’d say lifters are worth getting. They are good even if your ankles are fine. I am trying to work on my ankle Mobility but I only remember about once a month…

I squat in my regular Adidas training shoes, I ideally would prefer squatting barefoot but that isn’t the most hygienic thing to do during this Corona period. Great post ❤️

I definitely agree about the barefoot situation. seems like trainers are popular and hear I thought flats would be the top choice, lol thank you.
