  • Yes and no.

Day 26

Are you easily frustrated? what is it that frustrates you?

  • Yes, I can be easily frustrated when I am overwhelmed or stressed out. Many times the thing that frustrates me is when I am struggling to understand a concept or math equation & I keep trying to process the steps, but can’t get the formula down or understand the concept. Another frustration is when I am being sarcastic and it ends up offending someone, so I apologize but they don’t seem forgiving (even after saying “it’s okay”) because it makes me feel bad and I become frustrated with myself.
  • Also, I get frustrated when people are running late or when I am running late.
Are you the type or be easily frustrated, if so, what are some things that can cause you frustration?

Day 25

Are your emotions unbalanced? How can you address this?

  • Sometimes I feel as though my emotions are unbalanced, but without proper understanding of what this means exactly and the signs I should look for, I don’t want to say yes or no, but based on my own personal thoughts,  I think I do sometimes. Speaking with a professional would probably be the way to figure this out for sure and probably the best option in addressing the issue.

Are your emotions unbalanced? How have you addressed this?

Day 24

Do you carry emotional baggage? How can you deal with this?

  • I’d say at one point in my life, I was carrying “emotional baggage” but as of now, I don’t have any. However, I do have times when I am emotional, but wouldn’t necessarily say it is baggage of any sorts. I believe the baggage I once carried hasn’t ceased for good, but doesn’t bother me as much. Not to mention, many things I get emotional over, are brought on by a trigger or flashback or thought and not all of it is a bad thing.

Are you currently carrying around emotional baggage? if so, how are you dealing with it?

Day 23

Who or what keeps you calm?

  • In a perfect world, it would have been meditation but since I haven’t done that in awhile — oops! It would have to be my self control, knowing how to shut off and focus on breathing and allowing myself to relax — not always easy, but it helps when I have music as well and I can tune out certain thoughts or just listen to a song and really get involved with the lyrics.
What keeps all of you calm, or who?
