What are the little things that make you happy?

  • good music
  • sunshine/warm weather

  • phone calls from my youngest brother

Day 55

What helps you to heal?

  • Being able to find a way to move forward and not having to rethink about the pain/hurt. I find that time helps me to move forward but allows me to remember and so I can’t always agree that time heals. Laying in total darkness in silence or listening to sad music doesn’t make everything but helps to get my emotions out and crying is relieving in a sense it that it helps to put me to sleep. I need space alone when I am healing, I don’t particularly want to be crowed on or have tons of attention — I like my seclusion and battling things on my own.

Day 54

Do you find it difficult to control your temper?

  • Yes. Many time I have struggled with this, with me getting older, I feel as though I have gotten better with controlling my temper but not always 100 percent of the time. Probably not a good trait to have, but I haven’t chosen to seek help with this aspect of my life because I don’t feel I need professional help with it. I believe it will come down to finding an alternative way of handling my anger that will keep me calm and less overwhelmed & stay in control of my emotions naturally vs having to take medication because I don’t want to be on medicines.

What do you love about life?

  • I love the opportunities life has to offer, the learning experiences, the choices we have to live our lives to the fullest, the adventure it brings, and being able to experience life with different people in various ways.
