365 Days of Self Discovery: Day 85

What’s the most difficult choice you had to make?

  • For me, I believe the most difficult choice I have had to make is either having to let someone go, that I once loved — so that I could find clarity within myself or having to fight my inner thoughts on whether or not I should go out or stay in. I constantly struggle with having to let people go because it’s not always easy to do and I always struggle with deciding whether I am ready to venture the world on my own doing something I love or wait around for someone to ask me to hang out — I want to get to a point where I am 100 percent confident and okay with exploring things on my own (traveling, concerts, sporting events, festivals, etc) I have done smaller scale things on my own & have so far enjoyed it, so small steps. However, I do believe my future will hold rather difficult choices that will be much harder than either of these.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

  • I consider myself a little bit of both, but mostly an extrovert by nature (when I know someone well enough). The introvert side of me, is due to my social anxiety — I love being sociable & consider myself very outgoing and adventurous but sometimes my social anxiety gets the best of me and hinders me & I’m less likely to talk, less outgoing in fear of what people may think of me or due to the environment/or uncomfortable situation & many times the feeling of being overwhelmed triggers my anxiety as well (overwhelmed by the number of people, the feeling of not belonging, or feeling as though everyone is paying exceptional attention to me because I stick out). As an extrovert, I challenge my introverted side by doing things with friends and learning to do things on my own so that I can depend on me & feel comfortable in my own space without having to feel as though I need someone in order to do something.

How many of my readers are introverts? How many of you are extroverts? are you a mixture of both, why?

365 Days of Self Discovery: Day 83

11.24.18

What are your beliefs, and do you always stay true to them?

  • First, I would have to sit down and go over all my beliefs because I am fairly sure the list is long & secondly, I like to stay as true to my beliefs as possible but there have been times that I strayed from something I once believed in due to experience or circumstances. I have a list of beliefs that I would like to write out and examine each one. Some of my beliefs might have changed over the span of my years, and other have never changed — regardless, one belief I will say is, in a “higher” power, I do believe in God, without labeling myself (this is more of a spiritual belief)

Share some of your beliefs in the comment section then like, share and follow.
