  • My off days

Now pending circumstances, there may be days I don’t stay with the posted schedule, so it is all circumstantial but this at least gives you an idea of what to expect. Once I start my podcast & get my personal training website up and running, topics will grow and i’ll add more days or more post. I have many things that I want to do to increase my blog audience and grow my blog(s) and also build my networking skills, career, and possibly make more of a consistent income per writing as well with variety — but I am taking steps to do that slowly to keep from becoming too overwhelmed.

I still accept guest post and bloggers & will do the honors of doing guest post for others if you would like me to. i have some topics that currently need guest bloggers, if you are interested, please send me an email and I will respond ASAP. Thank you!

Leg set ready go!

Again, had to work with heavier weights to test the waters, I knew it would be difficult since it had been awhile since working out & training with heavier weights, but I managed okay and even did a video or two of the sumo deadlifts, which you can watch Here — they weren’t my max lifts, but they were about 80-85 percent of my max for 3 reps.

Heavier bench but not the heaviest load

Had to push myself to get these heavier bench press lifts, not going to lie, it was harder pushing these weights than it was in the past, but I managed, I didn’t press my max, because still working on gradual increase so I don’t hurt myself in the process.

Dynamic speed leg day

Oh the thrills of having to start light again and work my way up to heavier weights. I did good speed work on the Sumo deadlift today, but squats were shaking somewhat. Hopefully, that’s just a sign they are getting used to the weights again. Considering it was low weight today,  it somewhat would worry me if I had a hard time lifting today. Still waiting for muscle memory to kick into overload.

Superset:

  • Kettlebell plie squats: 3 x 10, 12kg

Tri-sets:

  • Smith machine narrow stance squats: 3 x 10, 115 lbs
  • DB stiff legged deadlift: 3 x 10, 50 lbs
  • resistance band lateral leg raises: 3 x 10 each leg, green band

Slow & Steady

I happen to make it back to the gym today (I only managed to go Thursday) and hadn’t gone since then or before then because I was stuck in my rut, but since coming back, my workouts will be starting off “easy” due to not wanting to over exert myself since it has been a little while since performing the lifts — and I want to gradually bring back what is left of my muscle memory; in hopes it will help to get back to normal in routine. I still have the same days/routine but the weight is a little lighter for now. The workout wasn’t long today but it did feel good.

  • DB chest press: 4 x 25, 30 lbs
  • Rear delt machine: 4 x 25, 20 lbs
  • Triceps extension machine: 4 x 25, 20 lbs

  • Cable face pull: 3 x 10, 50 lbs
  • DB standing triceps overhead extension: 3 x 10, 20 lbs

Tri-sets:

  • DB floor press: 3 x 10, 60 lbs
  • Standing DB shoulder press: 3 x 10, 40 lbs, 30 lbs, 20 lbs
  • Seated DB triceps overhead extension: 3 x 10, 20 lbs
